Wedding at the Barn at Stoneybrooke / Atglen, PA / Lauren & Keegan

Lauren's parents are good friends with Jenn, (Stoneybrooke's owner), so we knew it was going to be a very special wedding and that lots of people were looking forward to it, including ourselves. We actually ended up meeting Lauren's mom at a wedding at Stoneybrooke the previous weekend because she, (Missy), works at Stoneybrooke!! So that was a lot of fun to be able to work with her and get to know her a bit. When we arrived at Lauren & Keegan's wedding day, we knew it was going to be a great day because Missy greeted us with cokes - She remembered us mentioning how much we like Coke from the previous wedding, LOL - isn't that the sweetest??! Lauren also had a folder prepared for the photographers that had the "thank you" sign they wanted to incorporate in their photos and another photo idea they wanted to reeinact - these ladies were so organized and thoughtful <3 <3 <3

We started out the day with the first look followed by all of the formal photos again, which was really nice to get that all out of the way so that Lauren & Keegan could just enjoy their special day. Their wedding was the first weekend in June and it was 90 degrees!!! We were joking that it was Holly's fault because she also got married the first week of June and they also had 90 degree weather! I would expect that in July or August, but not June!! They had a huge bridal party that was wonderful to work with and even though it was hot, we didn't hear a lot of complaining and were able to move quickly through the photos so that everyone didn't melt, haha!

We found out that Keegan, the groom, is also a photographer, so it was fun to have something to talk about and to have someone who truly appreciates and understands the work that we're doing. Check out his awesome work on instagram!

Lauren was all smiles during the ceremony, and when they did the unity sand, I remember she couldn't stop laughing because it took way longer than they realized, lol. I just loved watching these two interact with each other. Lauren started to not feel well in the middle of the reception, and Keegan was right there ready to help her in any way that he could. After Lauren's first dance with her father, her dad and the father of the groom surprised everyone with a hilarious rendition of the "Time of my Life" dance from Dirty Dancing...it was pretty amazing, HA! There was so much joy and laughter on Lauren & Keegan's wedding day and it was plain to see that they were surrounded by family & friends who support and love them dearly. We enjoyed being a party of the celebration so much and wish them the best in their new life together :) <3
