When we showed up to Erin & Tim's wedding day, Erin had white lace up combat boots on and I remember her saying "yeah, I'm not a traditional bride" haha! She had her roller derby gang with her and we were able to get some super fun shots with their jackets and skates. Erin & Tim wanted to do a first look and get all of the formal photos out of the way before the ceremony so that they could enjoy their cocktail hour and the rest of the day with their guests. There was rain in the forecast, so they had to have their ceremony indoors, but we managed to get most of the formal photos done before it really started raining out (phew!) It was already spritzing when we set Erin & Tim up for the first look, but they were still up for doing it outside with umbrellas, and then we quickly had them move into the grain bin so that they could exchange their vows in a dry place! These two are so adorable together, you can tell they are totally head over heels for each other.
Erin & Tim are very likable people and have a lot of friends ;) So we were working with a large bridal party, which was one of the main reasons we wanted to try to get most photos done outside because there wasn't a lot of room inside since the ceremony was set up with chairs already. This was such a fun group to work with and they were such good sports about taking some photos in the rainy weather!
The ceremony was short & sweet and Erin was all smiles. Erin has THE BEST smile and laugh; it was so contagious! Shout out to Philadelphia Police & Fire Pipes & Drums for their excellent music! We have never seen bagpipes at a wedding before - I loved it! When it was reception time, these people knew how to party! We haven't seen that many people on the dance floor in a long time, it was so much fun to be a part of :) It's clear that Erin & Tim are surrounded by a lot of people that love and support them and it was an honor being able to witness that <3 <3 <3
