This engagement session is near and dear to my heart :) Ben was my neighbor and childhood friend; our houses were right across the street from each other and I would be over at their house all the time hanging out with him and his sisters. After I was married, my husband and I attended GBC and I started helping out with the youth group, and Johanna was one of my youth girls! We ended up helping with Vacation Bible School together for many years and then when she graduated we still stayed in touch. She started working at Bomberger's hardware store and told me that she started dating a boy named Ben. I was like wait a minute...Ben Bomberger??! And then I proceeded to tell her that he was my neighbor growing up and how wonderful his family was and how great a guy he is, (which obviously she already knew). I don't think they lasted very long at first, and I remember being disappointed that it didn't work out haha. I am overjoyed that these two found their way back to each other and are now engaged and getting married! It's so fun that I knew these two separately before, and now I get to see them interact together as a couple. Enjoy scrolling through their engagement session at Springton Manor Farm :)
