Maddie & Mike were our free engagement session winners from one of Britain Hill's open houses! We had so much fun at their waterfall engagement session, and we were SO happy they ended up deciding to book us for their wedding too <3 <3 <3


We started the day at Oxford Sacred Heart Church, where the ceremony was held. Then we headed over to the lovely Britain Hill for the formal photos and reception. The last time we photographed a wedding at Britain Hill, it was winter, so it was nice to be back in the spring. Even though it technically wasn't summer yet, it was really hot outside, so we were thankful that the ceremony was held indoors in the air condition. I always feel especially bad for the guys in their suits on a hot wedding day!


This was such a fun group to work with and Maddie had some photo requests that were super fun to do. She had her long cathedral veil that the bridal party got stuck in ;) ...the guys had Marvel T-shirts on underneath their suits...Mike brought his police badge along...we had such a good time! Don't even get me started about the dancing at the reception; these people had us cracking up! Everyone was having a blast on the dance floor (thanks to the amazing DJ, Jesse, from Baker Event Co). The Bride & Groom often aren't on the dance floor the entire night, but Maddie & Mike were all about it and they showed off their moves and had us laughing so much!! While my husband was editing their wedding video, I remember him saying "I have so much reception footage of them, I don't know what to use because I want to use it all!" hahaha! Towards the end of the night, Maddie even took the DJ's microphone and belted out "Mamma Mia!" We were all singing along!


Maddie & Mike are huge Disney fans, (they actually got engaged at Disney and had lots of Disney-themed wedding decor), and they were a great example of what Ohana should look like. "Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten." - Lilo & Stitch.
