We met Glenna and Andy back in November when we shot their maternity photos (which you can see here!). These two are so much fun and we couldn't wait to meet their sweet baby boy. Bradley took his sweet time entering the world and then we ended up rescheduling the session once due to impending snow (which then didn't really even materialize, of course). But as you can see, it was worth the wait! This little guy made our job easy!
He was pretty awake when we got started, so we started with a swaddled shot to get him nice and cozy and let him drift off to sleep.
Once he was out we went back to our normal flow of bean bag poses, which he rocked!
Just look at those little toes.
He woke up for a bit again and we were able to get this great awake shot of him. Look at those beautiful eyes!
I love incorporating special elements into photos. Glenna had requested a shot with Andy's dog tags, boots and hat. I added the flag and we were set for our first military shot. I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
Glenna also asked if it would be possible to do a set up with a top hat that had belonged to Andy's late brother. I asked if there was anything else she'd like to add into the set up and after talking for a bit we decided she would also bring the pocket watch she had given to Andy.
And we finished up with some family shots!
Safe in Mom and Dad's arms.
Bradley was pretty much a rock star during his session, but once he was done, well, he was done. He wouldn't let me get that one last family shot, but who doesn't love an outtake?!?
Glenna and Andy, thank you once again for the pleasure of working with your family on your maternity and newborn photos! We have had such a wonderful time getting to know you both through this process. We hope you love and cherish these photos and keep in touch!
