I think I've mentioned this before, but it's worth saying again... I LOVE reconnecting with people through photography! I have known Jason, pretty much my entire life, we're talking K-12, marching band, and before most of that, Cub Scouts (wait what? NO, I was not a Cub Scout, but my dad was the "Cub Master" of the local Cub Scout Pack for many years, so I was dragged to all sorts of stuff haha!). Anyway... I was thrilled for Jason and his wife Jaime when I saw their Facebook announcement that they were expecting! I commented on the post congratulating them and Jason commented back that they might be contacting me about photos! And they did! So back in August (seriously how has it been two months already?), they made the trek out to Lancaster with precious, little Benjamin.
I was excited to meet Jaime and see Jason again for the first time in years and the session didn't disappoint. We had a great time catching up on each others' lives and of course photographing this cutie! After filling his belly, he was still awake, so we started off with some swaddled up shots!
And then he was out!
Jason wasn't so sure about it, but I am in love with this sweet little romper from Newborn Knits by Chelsea (and this pose)!
This adorable deer set was a custom order that Newborn Knits by Chelsea made just for Benjamin.
Next up we got some family shots, I'm in love with all of them.
So cozy and safe in mom and dad's arms.
Time for some props! My favorite little bed from The Original Photoblocks!
One of my favorites!
And this last set up we had tried to do earlier, this wasn't exactly what we were going for, but I think it turned out pretty cute anyway! Boys and their cars!
Jaime and Jason, thank you again for everything! I had the best time hanging out with you guys, not just during the session itself, but also during your ordering appointment and when I delivered your products to you! I hope that you love your photos of Benjamin and that you'll cherish them forever. You guys are awesome!
